Youth leadership initiatives empower young people to become agents of change in their communities. These programs develop critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills through workshops, volunteering, and mentorship.

The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025, the premier event of the Indian government, replaced the National Youth Festival with a leadership boot camp and nationwide talent search. Over 3 million youths participated in the three-stage program, which included the Viksit Bharat Quiz, essay contests, and vision deck competitions. In New Delhi, 3,000 participants gave direct presentations of their innovative ideas to the Prime Minister and other high-ranking officials.

Over 1.65 crore volunteers have been enlisted for youth-led social projects under the MY Bharat platform. Through local volunteering, this portal facilitates civic engagement and instills values of responsibility and service during Amrit Kaal.

In March 2025, organizations such as IIT Bhilai held a workshop titled "Empowering Change – Bapi na Uvat." In collaboration with UNICEF and local government, the two-day interactive program gave students leadership skills in areas like public health awareness, mental wellness, digital literacy, and community engagement.

Every Saturday, the ongoing Yuva Samvad sessions at Vivekananda Kendra and Dharampeth MP Deo Science College in Nagpur encourage youth to develop holistically—intellectually, emotionally, physically, and spiritually—through workshops, group discussions, and cultural events.
